This is a static website with no backend and no account system, so email is the only support channel. There is deliberately no contact form: a form would require a third-party service to receive and store your message, which would add a data processor for very little benefit.

Reporting a problem

If background removal is misbehaving on your device, the following helps enormously:

• your browser and version (for example, Chrome 141 on Windows);
• your device type — desktop, laptop, or phone — and roughly how old it is;
• whether the tool reported GPU acceleration (WebGPU) or CPU (WebAssembly);
• the approximate image size in megapixels and the file type;
• what you expected and what happened instead.

Please do not attach the image itself. You do not need to, and we would rather not receive it — describing the subject is enough.

Licensing and attribution

The tool is built on open-source software and openly licensed machine-learning models. Details, including the licence of each component, are documented in the project repository. If you believe attribution is missing or incorrect, please say so and it will be corrected.

Feature requests

Suggestions are welcome. Be aware that this tool has a deliberately narrow scope: it removes backgrounds and nothing else. Requests for templates, layers, text, background libraries, or video support are out of scope by design, not by omission.
